An online petition is circulating on the web address to US National Football League (NFL) to include/consider the legendary rock band Journey to perform at the Half-Time show of Super Bowl XLIII. I agree too.. no wardrobe mulfunction there.. just pure rock!!

The honor of performing at the Super Bowl halftime show is a very important one for the culture of American Popular music. Legendary performers such as Sir Paul McCartney, The Rolling Stones, Tom Petty, U2, Aerosmith, Sting, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Britney Spears and New Kids on the Block have had the distinction of entertaining millions of fans on the Super Bowl Halftime stage.
When Super Bowl XLIII rolls into the party capital of the world, Tampa, Florida on February 1, 2009 there is only one musical act that should be given the honor of entertaining the masses. The great and legendary rock band Journey is really the only proper choice to perform at the Half Time show at Super Bowl XLIII.
Journey is pure, unadulterated awesome and never has such a perfect choice been selected to entertain America, or the WORLD, at a Super Bowl Halftime show.

ABS-CBN TV reporter and 2 news crew missing in Sulu

TV network ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corp. on confirmed reports that its veteran television journalist Ces Drilon and two camera crew were missing in the island-province of Sulu in Mindanao.
Reports from rival channel GMA 7 said that the 3 news crew might have been abducted by a suspected member of Abu Sayyaf group when they were invited by a Mindanao State University Professor to cover an event.
According to ABS-CBN statement:
“Three ABS-CBN journalists Ces Drilon, Jimmy Encarnacion, and Angelo Valderama are missing in Sulu,” said ABS-CBN in a statement .
“All efforts are underway to find them and bring them home. Until we learn more details, ABS-CBN News requests other media to report on this matter with utmost consideration for the safety of our news team”

Rudy Fernandez signed contract with ABS-CBN

Rudy Fernandez who passed away June 7 was managed to sign an exclusive rights with ABS-CBN Network last December 18 for his films where he has a major appearance.
According to news, Rudy (also know Daboy to his friends) was accompanied by his wife and actress Lorna Tolentino at the contract signing with ABS-CBN executives. Rudy’s movies series will be aired weekly this is after the end of the Fernando Poe Jr. featured films.

Pinoy Idol what?

What? musical influence Michael Jackson but ended singing (doing) David Cook’s version. Also, it is struggle for me to watch Pinoy Idol.. I get destructed by those people seating behind the main stage some looks like stone others are looks like monument clapping their hands.
I just hope they get rid of those seats or if they need put somebody in there be sure that they are upbeat or goes with the flow of the contestant’s performance.

All Access Interview with Journey’s NEAL SCHON

Here’s the All Access Magazine lengthy interview with Journey’s legendary guitar player Neal Schon about their new album, world tour and of course their new lead vocal Arnel Pineda.
Really what I was interested about was to put him on some new songs and find out who is the REAL Arnel. Because when you hear someone do Sting or Steven Tyler perfectly, which is not easy to do, and Perry and the old Police stuff, and Heart, you name it, Don Henley, Nat King Cole, he did ALL of it, and I was just like, “This guy is insane!” I mean, what a chameleon! What a talented voice!

BTW, I got a copy of Journey’s new 3-disk album the other day (6/4) at the nearest Walmart store in Pottstown area (30miles west of Philly) the funny thing is there’s a note on the shelf which says “Limit 10 per customer.. ” what? people are hoarding this stuff? LOL

Fantaseryenobela is alive again with ABS-CBN upcoming series Dyosa. Stars Anne Curtis is transform into Siren, Mermaid and a Centaurides.
This is the story about an eighteen-year-old Dyosa is living a normal life as a student, a part-time cosplay model and a loving daughter to her midget parents when she discovers that she is not an ordinary girl. A half-man half-goat appears before Dyosa on her 18th birthday to reveal that Dyosa is actually a goddess, a descendant of Mariang Sinukuan and Bernardo Carpio, who is destined to rule the world of the upper gods.
Dyosa has to make a choice: Will she heed the call of her destiny and save the dying world of the Philippine gods and goddesses and leave the life she has lived for 18 years? Or will she resist her new role as a goddess and give up her powers to stay in the human world with the mortal she loves?
